The Kor Group's Development division works in tandem with the company's Design & Construction group to implement start-to-finish development mind and muscle. Specialists in executing quality ventures in challenging environments, these divisions have extensive experience with ground-up apartment, condominium, hotel and resort development, design and construction, as well as adaptive reuse of historic properties in culturally influential locations. They also provide separate construction and property asset management services to company-owned properties and to third-party hotel owners.


Kor's current properties under development (including both ground-up resorts and residences and adaptive reuse ventures) are valued in excess of $2 billion. These projects include Viceroy destinations in Anguilla, BWI; Tides locations in South Beach and Playa del Carmen, Mexico; and forthcoming properties in Anguilla and Mexico. In partnership with The Related Group, Kor is extending its Viceroy brand to Resorts and Residences properties in Miami's Brickell area.

In Los Angeles, Kor has developed over two million square feet of for-sale product in culturally significant locations. These projects include the condominium conversion of The Broadway Hollywood and Eastern Columbia buildings; Molino Street Lofts, formerly artist-in-residence-zoned rentals; and Sunset Silver Lake, ground-up condominiums.

To date, Kor has undertaken over $750 million in development and refurbishment costs. The company has also completed two ground-up apartment complexes; re-developed multiple hotels and a ten-story office building; erected several clubhouse/leasing facilities; performed earthquake damage remediation; and rehabilitated numerous apartment units.
